Who

Principal designer and consultant Jacob Holzberg-Pill is a plant nerd and a community enthusiast.

He holds a Master’s in Forest Management from Yale University and Environmental Stewardship Education from Harvard University, as well as a Permaculture Design Certificate and teaching certificate from Esalen Institute.

Jacob has over twenty years of professional experience creating site and land use plans, climate-resilient farm and garden designs, and teaching people about how to propagate, plant, grow, tend, harvest, and fall in love with  plants. He is passionate about helping people deepen relationships with the world around them.

He lives in Burlington, VT with his partner Grace and three kids on an urban homestead.
